Consultation assessment

A consultant will go through your income and expenses and determine whether you are over-indebted (when your expenses exceed your income and you are struggling to make your debt repayments on time). If this is the case, you qualify for debt mediation. Please note: You don’t have to physically visit our offices. Your entire enquiry and application can be done telephonically and on-line.

Step 3

We will then notify all of your credit providers and the credit bureaus that you have applied for debt mediation with Tryco Debt Management. Your credit providers won’t be able to take legal action against you for 60 working days from receipt of this notification

Step 4

Restructure

Once we get your COB’s from your creditors we now use all the information to draft a reasonable repayment proposal that will suit your budget – and this will then be sent to your creditors.

Step 5

Suit your budget

Tryco will now negotiate with your credit providers to have your monthly installments and interest rates reduced, have your repayment terms lengthened – and ultimately ensure that your new repayment plan makes more money available for your everyday living expenses.

Step 6

Success, you can afford

Our specialist attorneys will apply to the magistrates court to have your new debt repayment plan declared a court order that is legally binding. Your debt counsellor will be the applicant on your behalf, so you won’t have to appear in court.
